Mr. Chandler, Chairman of Security By Design, Inc., has been actively consulting in the security industry since 1974.
Mr. Chandler has been involved in the design of many aspects of security, fire protection and data center coordination. He is recognized as an expert in systems integration for security alarms, access control, fire detection and suppression, closed circuit television, intercom systems, and emergency shutdown processes for computer facilities, alarm monitoring and total design management of the emergency responses in data centers. Several very large security systems that span many countries have been designed and coordinated by Mr. Chandler.
Well known as a futurist for the security industry, he has advised many of the manufacturers of large security infrastructure systems and constantly pushes the industry to grow and innovate.
In addition, he has coordinated, designed, and specified integrated security approaches for office complexes, industrial facilities, laboratories, schools, and many very high-end residential homes. He is well known in the security industry for his technical expertise and knowledge of lock hardware and master planning.
As Chairman of Security By Design, Inc., he has planned and implemented two types of security standards. Architectural security standards help multi-site clients optimize their design and construction processes. Security system standards help these same multi-site clients procure, install, and effectively service world wide security infrastructures.
His forté is applying logical security solutions to business applications. He has been a speaker at seminars for various industries and has served as an expert witness for both owners and legal advisors regarding litigation of projects.
