Deployment at Site As-Builts
This website is the archive of the security development of all client sites. As each site is added, or when changes are made to an existing site, the information relative to the security systems at the sites will be added. As this data is added, it will be possible to go to each site virtually and see the as-built system features of the site, and to use this information to troubleshoot existing installations. To achieve this result, the site itself is the medium for capturing all images, testing forms, and security plans for the site.
Welcome to the client Testing site
The close out of a project is the culmination of many steps from inception to fully operational.
-
Testing is the critical process required by Sections 28 00 01 and 28 08 01 that leads to project completion and the owner's assurance by the integrator that every system element is fully functional.
-
The integrator must test each defined point element shown on the drawings and details and as defined by this testing website, achieving the status of Tested. The quality of the information is critical, both data and images. Take portrait images where possible. Image resolution and quality must be sufficient to clearly read wire tags, see wire terminations and door hardware. Refer to line drawings to capture the appropriate information. Adjust image rotation as required.
-
By marking the Tested box, the integrator is assuring the owner that the work is neat, high quality, and 100% ready.
-
The designer will review all the data that is marked as Tested and will mark as Completed when the data appropriately supports the design intent.
-
A final acceptance test with the integrator, designers, and other owner representatives will be scheduled once all points are Completed.
-
The designer will create a punch list based on the final acceptance test.
-
When all items on the punch list are resolved, a Letter of Completion will be issued.
-
The date on the Letter of Completion, is the start date of the system warranty.
The website is the primary mechanism for testing. A mobile app is also available for testing, with an offline mode for sites with limited internet access.
Downloadable Security Details and Division 28 specifications are available in the Resource Library, to the left, for convenient reference in the field. Please utilize these resources to ensure work is aligned with the design and help reduce unnecessary punch list tasks resulting from the Final Acceptance Test.
